Age category: 7-13 y.o. 

Course overview:For students who are familiar with basic Latin dance steps, Rising Stars builds on that knowledge. Dancers will expand their step repertoire, refine technique, and work on musicality and performance skills. This class is ideal for those looking to improve and potentially explore competitive dancing in the future while having fun and a great team experince.

Performances:

• Bal d'Hiver (Christmas showdance)( December)

• DANZA DEL SOL (end of year showdance)( May)

• Competitions (optional): a calendar will be provided to you

• Troupes competitions(optional): a calendar and guidelines will be provided to you

• AUDITIONS required on August 31st

1st session

12 weeks : $300 (September 14th- November 30th, 2025)

2 classes/week:$510

2nd session

20 weeks : $500 (January 11th- June 7th, 2026)

2 classes/week: $850

*Plan extra cost for competition gear and events

Dress Code:

• Girls:Studio Danza T-shirt ($25) or black T-shirt/leotard, Black skirt or dress (leggings allowed 10+)

  Shoes: Latin dance shoes for kids (square heel only) – white/tan or black/leopard practice shoes (Supadance, Zymdancestyle, Amazon, AliExpress, etc.) . Hair tied up, optional tights.

  Water bottle, deodorant in dance bag (age 8+)

• Boys:  Studio Danza T-shirt ($25), or black/white T-shirt, Black flexible or dance pants

  Shoes: Latin dance shoes for kids (Supadance, Zymdancestyle, Amazon, AliExpress, etc.)

  Black socks, water bottle, deodorant in dance bag (age 8+)

• Pricing Policies:

  ·       All prices are taxe-inclusive*

  ·       Pricing is per person, per class, once per week (same day, same time for each course).

  ·       Students may register in more than one class.

  ·       Registration is only confirmed once deposit is received.

  ·       Deposit required to save your spot (non-refundable). 

  ·       Full payment is required before the first class.

  ·       Session starts: September 12th, 2025

  ·       15% discount applies to registration for a 3rd class in a 14-weeks  session (or more) program

  ·       All payments are final sales - No refunds for missed classes, no credits, no exceptions.

  ·       Pricing is per person, per class, once per week (same day, same time for each course)

• No videotaping allowed unless permission given by a teacher

• No parents allowed in the studio during the classes

• No parents allowed on the dancefloor unless invited by a teacher

  Cancellation:If a class must be canceled by Studio Danza, the school will make every effort to schedule a make-up class.However, classes canceled due to severe weather will not be rescheduled.

  Government-Mandated Closures:If a government authority mandates the temporary closure of dance studios, classes will immediately shift to an online format for the required period.These replacement online classes will be considered an equivalent service, and no refunds or discounts will be provided.
