Course overview:In this high-energy class, teens will explore a variety of Latin dances including Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Jive, Salsa, and more. Students will learn both basic techniques and fun, dynamic elements of each dance, while enjoying great music and developing rhythm, coordination, and expression.

Performances:

• DANZA WONDERLAND(Christmas showdance)( December)

• DANZA DEL SOL (end of year showdance)( May)

Dress Code:

• Girls:Studio Danza T-shirt or black T-shirt/leotard, Black skirt or dress (leggings allowed 10+)

  Shoes: Latin dance shoes for kids (square heel only) – white/tan or black/leopard practice shoes (Supadance, Zymdancestyle, Amazon, AliExpress, etc.) . Hair tied up, optional tights.

  Water bottle, deodorant in dance bag (age 8+)

• Boys:  Studio Danza T-shirt , or black/white T-shirt, Black flexible or dance pants

  Shoes: Latin dance shoes for kids (Supadance, Zymdancestyle, Amazon, AliExpress, etc.)

  Black socks, water bottle, deodorant in dance bag (age 8+)
